Day 21 by Kass Morgan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I'm not really sure how to explain how much I enjoyed this book!
The 100 are still struggling to with life on earth with dangers outside the camp waiting to get you at any moment and worse the conflict and shadiness from the people in camp.
This book is simple exciting I tried to read as Quickly as I can with the simple need to know what was going to happen next, but it's hard to do that because I also want to go slowly and appreciate the storyline that is so well-done. I have no idea how these teens can trust each other if I'm honest I would be waiting for a knife in the back at any moment. The whole situation that the 100 are in is a harsh one with only basic stuff and themselves they need to really pull together to keep alive and if they don't it's going to end badly.
The storyline is full of action, conflict, truth and lies and so much more. It super glued you to each page from the start it's easy to lose yourself within the pages and imagine what it's like being one of the characters and what you would do in their place how would you cope in a world with no running water or parents to look after you. The book seems to just play on you mind long after you have finished it even when I put the book down I found my mind still lost within the pages long after putting the book down. Another thing I liked about the book is seeming how each character worked under pressure and how they have changed since the first book seeing each character developed over time it was exciting it was like watching your best friend grow up before your eyes.
I also enjoyed how the author progressed the story and described the earth and people. The author really has a way with words the words are so fluid through the whole book and I never felt the need to take a break I never got bored it was fantastic and I loved every minute of it.
It a fantastic mix of everything any reader could want in a book.

Her name is Evangeline and she is Nephilim.
Evie is stuck in the Underworld until she can find a way to be released from her newfound role as Hades. And the longer she remains in Hades the more secrets are revealed about her true origins. A confrontation with a Dark Angel brings two revelations to the Evie - the true identity of Daniel, the Master of the Irin's assistant, and who is he to Evie herself.
While a trip into the depths of Hades leads Evie into the fiery depths of Tartarus and eventually to the eternal peace of Elysium, will Evie find the peace she seeks? And what about the smoking hot Julian, god of Hades? How far is he willing to go to keep Evie at his side?
Chapter 1
Two weeks to the Ascension Ceremony
Evie stared at her hands and
wondered, not for the first time, why they didn't shine with the blood she'd
spilled a few days ago. She flexed her fingers, turning her hands over to study
them in the light of the blazing fire. Long lean fingers, neatly manicured
nails. Elegant hands for a cold-blooded killer. Only the slightly darker
calluses on the inside of her fingers hinted at the hours of weapons-practice,
hours of using weapons to kill.
She was used to being the
executioner, although never guilty of ending an undeserving life. Not until the
insidiously evil Marcellus Bactor had taken over as the Master of the
Brotherhood of the Irin. As a warrior under the Brotherhood she'd performed
missions of charity, missions of freedom, and of course missions of death. But
under Marcellus death had become the sole function of the Irin.
Breakfast had not appealed to her
at all. She hadn't expected to feel so strange after dispatching Marcellus.
He'd been running the Brotherhood, his own needs more important than those of
the humans whom they were all meant to protect. And, now she knew he'd killed
her guardian, Patrick, and robbed her of the only father she'd ever known.
And yet here she was, feeling as
though she ought to receive some sort of punishment for murdering the Master of
the Irin. And for the first time she wondered what the Brotherhood and all her
fellow Nephilim were doing right now. Choosing another Master? Perhaps Daniel?
She shuddered at the thought. What was that saying? Frying pan and fire.
She sighed and shifted in the
sofa, moving her cheek away from the warm flames of the fire. Julian's study
was warm and cozy, and modern. Unlike anything she'd ever expected to see deep
within the bowels of the earth. Dark wood shelves covered the walls filled to
overflowing with books from every age, in every language. Comfortable sofas in
earthy tones were scattered around the space, convenient spots for curling up
with an interesting read. She tossed her dark hair over her shoulder and away
from the heat from the fireplace.
She smiled at the memory of
Castor's reaction to Marcellus' death just hours ago. He'd barely blinked on
seeing the bloody remains of their old Master. Not that she should have
expected tears considering Castor had borne the brunt of Marcellus's fury when
Evie had left Greylock Estate in search of the Underworld. Evie's stomach
tightened when she thought of Castor's little home on the grounds of the
estate. A place the half demon had loved, a place now burnt to ash. But
Castor's woes didn't seem to worry him too much right now. He was being well
entertained by Pollo and his eclectic band of servants.
Julian had gone off on an errand
in a bit of a hurry; something about a volcanic eruption in the South Pacific.
That left Evie to her own devices, which wouldn't have been so bad if she had
not needed to worry about Persephone. Evie was constantly on guard where the
cold-hearted goddess was concerned, what with Persephone having already tried
once to kill her. But so far she didn't seem to want to repeat the attempt.
Maybe she was concerned about what Julian would do to her should she succeed.
Evie snorted. No chance she'd let her guard down though.
Evie's skin tingled and she
glanced at the shifting letters tattooed into her skin. They seemed alive,
twisting and writhing beneath the surface of her pale skin like living things.
Something Evie was yet to get accustomed to. She studied the markings then
returned her attention to the pages of the ancient book lying open on her lap.
A book of dead languages, scripts
from a time long gone. Perhaps a source of information, perhaps a way to undo
this curse that she'd brought upon herself. Twelve seals to make a god. Not a
bad way to turn an angel into the King of the Underworld.
She suppressed another sigh and
rubbed her forehead. Suddenly the room seemed to close in on her and she felt
desperate to leave the confining comfort of the study. She'd been on edge for
hours now. What she probably needed was a sparring session. Something she
wasn't likely to get down here.
She shut the book and left it on
the sofa, heading for the door on feet that seemed to think she was in a hurry
to be somewhere. Outside, the cool air from the shadowed tunnels teased her
overly warm cheeks. She glanced up and down the passage listening for the
sounds of approaching feet or hooves. Nothing. Torches shone at both ends of
the tunnel, their flickering yellow light dancing and reflecting against the
ominous jagged black stone of the tunnel walls.
Evie let her feet guide her,
although part of her knew exactly where they were leading her.
SHORT EXCERPTS
She felt awkward standing there in
front of him. Until he rested his hand on her arm. The touch of his skin to
hers set off a million tiny sparks, sending a shiver of anticipation up and
down her spine.
***
She moved forward and so did
Julian, until their lips were a hairs-breadth from meeting. Electricity sizzled
between them and for a moment Evie's legs wobbled. She tipped forward toward
him, reaching for Julian's shoulder to help steady her. Only touching his hard,
muscled arm didn't help to steady her in any way.
***
Touching him set her body on fire,
and she felt him shift, move toward her. He cupped the back of her head,
tilting her face, giving him access to her lips.
And then he kissed her.
This time his exploration was not
tentative. He kissed her hard, with a pent-up passion that felt dangerous and
delicious all at the same time. Evie's heart thundered against her ribs as she
kissed him back. She curled her arm around his neck and pulled him closer.

I have been a writer from the time I was old enough to recognize that reading
was a doorway into my imagination. Poetry was my first foray into the art of
the written word. Books were my best friends, my escape, my haven. I am
essentially a recluse but this part of my personality is impossible to practice
given I have two teenage daughters, who are actually my friends, my tea-makers,
my confidantes… I am blessed with a husband who has left me for golf. It’s a
fair trade as I have left him for writing. We are both passionate supporters of
each others loves – it works wonderfully…
My heart is currently broken in two. One half
resides in South Africa where my old roots still remain, and my heart still
longs for the endless beaches and the smell of moist soil after a summer
downpour. My love for Ma Afrika will never fade. The other half of me has been
transplanted to the Land of the Long White Cloud. The land of the Taniwha,
beautiful Maraes, and volcanoes. The land of green, pure beauty that truly
inspires. And because I am so torn between these two lands – I shall forever
remain cross-eyed.

The 100 by Kass Morgan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The book is set in the future the earth become a place that was unable to sustain human life so the last humans fearing that they would all die made a plan to get onto a ship and live in space, but years of living on a ship in space is not easy and life is harsh. Kids and teens imprisoned for small crimes only to be kill as soon as they turn 18 but something has changed and the council decide that 100 young criminals will be given the change at freedom with sounds great, but not when that freedom means being shipped of to earth where no one knows if the planet is even safe.
So I watched the TV program with no clue that it was based on a book to start with, but I'm really glad I was given the chance to review the book. I loved the whole storyline the harsh reality of what life is like in space because earth is not able to sustain life. The way the law is so finally and frightening how simple things that you would think nothing of are punishable by death or imprisonment until you 18 years old
I felt resentment for the council and found myself sucked into the lives of these teens and what they go through. How some simple human rights to me are governed by laws and freewill seemed more like a luxury that most don't have on the ship.
Once the 100 get to earth and away from the restrictions of the ship I had hoped that things would be simpler, but in a harsh place with limited resources and well 100 teens that are deemed criminals whether it being a small crime or a large one life becomes all about adapting and learning to live in a place that's very alien to them all.
I felt for the people I followed through the course of the book I feared for them when things are hard and smiled and laughed when the discovered new things they never had on the ship. The 100 have complete freewill with no rules or structure no adults to yell at them or anything, but while some seem to do the right things and want to look after the group other seem to just want to be jerks and start fights and throw there weight about.I found the whole book was very engrossing and easy to read I was excited for every chapter for all the new information and back history of the characters and why they are at this point. It was a simple brilliant read from start to finish and I found no faults or little things that I disliked the whole book felt like it was made for me. I happily give this book five stars and would recommend to others in a heart beat

In the fourth Demon Trappers novel, Riley faces the final battle for humanity and Beck's heart—and Hell is the least of her problems
Now that Riley’s managed to (just barely) fend off Armageddon, everything’s changed. Well . . . most things. After their passionate kiss before the big battle in the cemetery, Beck is back to treating her like a little girl, as if nothing ever happened. While she’d love to just tell him off and move on, Riley vowed to take care of Beck the way he’s taken care of her since her father’s death—but she’s about to get a whole lot more than she bargained for. When she’s commissioned to go with Beck to his hometown and help him care for his dying mother, they stumble too close to a dark and murderous secret, one that Beck fears will drive Riley away from him forever. As chaos breaks loose, Riley may be Beck's only hope for redemption . . . and survival.
Meanwhile, up in Atlanta, it’s quickly becoming clear that Heaven may have won a battle, but the war is far from over. Riley and Beck face a stormy future, as Lucifer's ex-right-hand-man, Sartael, proves himself to be more resilient than anyone thought. He has Atlanta in his grip and is about to begin a brutal war with the prince of Hell. As the seconds tick down toward a final confrontation, it's up to Riley and the man she loves to finally defeat their old enemy, or lose everything they've fought for.
I only just put the book down and I'm blown away!
Foretold is the last book in the demon trappers series this book had to be my favourite out the four books. The book leans more toward Beck this time and you got to see why he is the way he is and to finally solve the mystery's that surround beck. He is an amazing character and i found myself drawn into the hell which was his past and it pulled at your heart and made you like him even more then you did before. The whole way through all these books I'd hoped he would end up with Riley he was a guy that would not only look after her but they both challenge each other and seem to work even when both of them kicked up every step of the way.
Riley is fantastic, she is tough, she will stand up and fight no matter the odds she is kind and smart and its the whole package she is not the kind of girl that will stand and wait for the guy to save her or stand at the side line and watch the fight she is also there in the thick of it ready to protected people.
The first half of the book is mostly away from the city that we have all read about in the last three books and takes place in Becks town and around the dark secrets of his past i was a little worried at first as it was so far away from what i was used to from the other three books but it was brilliant you had a clear look at Becks character and why he is who he is. you also saw the relationship between Riley and beck tested and so much more and i was power reading through needing to get to the next page and the next after
When the two get back to the city everything goes to hell and your seeing a massive all out fight for there lives and its spectacular i think i spent more time with a shocked look on my face the more i read the book. i was not disappointed the ending was all i could wish for and more i laughed, i cried and i knew by the end of the book that i would read any book Jana Oliver would write in the future she is a wonderful author and her books are mindbogglingly fantastic[Foretold is the last book in the demon trappers series this book had to be my favourite out the four books. Riley has made a bargain with Heaven, and now they've come to collect.
Lucifer's finest are ruling the streets and it seems that Armageddon might be even closer than Riley imagined. But with her soul and her heart in play it's all she can do to keep herself alive, let alone save the world. Riley's not afraid of kicking some major demon butt, but when it comes to a battle between Heaven and Hell, she might need a little help..
In the third book in the series its yet again jammed packed with Action, fighting and more trouble for poor Riley the book is just over flowing with a mix of everything a reader could want and need in a book. Riley seems to be getting herself deeper and deeper into trouble its like if something bad is going to happen its going to happen right with Riley dead in the middle even if she tries to keep away from it all, it some how always finds her.
She is also struggling with betrayal and how to deal with everything going on in her life right now and that just adds to how the character is building and changing over the course of the book I've read
Beck is also pretty much struggling his a amazing person but he can hide it really well behind a attitude that is mostly directed at Riley. He is a person that tries to help and do the right thing by others but never really lets anyone in to help him i enjoyed seeing him come out more and show people the caring side even if its just for a short time.
The book has a solid storyline and great characters that are easy to follow and love. You are gripped the whole way through the book and you cant help but feeling for them when things go wrong and you just want to help pick them back up and lead them the right way. I also love the chapters with fighting scenes and where you are so court up in the book that you have no idea wants going on in real life around you because you are completely lost within the book, heart in you mouth waiting for what is to come next. The ending to this book had to be one that gripped me the most and once i've finished with this i plain to move to the last book.
This series is a most read!!

Riley Blackthorne is beginning to learn that there are worse things than death by demon. And love is just one of them…
Seventeen-year-old Riley has about had it up to here. After the devastating battle at the Tabernacle, trappers are dead and injured, her boyfriend Simon is gravely injured, and now her beloved late father’s been illegally poached from his grave by a very powerful necromancer. As if that’s not enough, there's Ori, one sizzling hot freelance demon hunter who’s made himself Riley’s unofficial body guard, and Beck, a super over-protective “friend” who acts more like a grouchy granddad. With all the hassles, Riley’s almost ready to leave Atlanta altogether.
But as Atlanta’s demon count increases, the Vatican finally sends its own Demon Hunters to take care of the city’s “little” problem, and pandemonium breaks loose. Only Riley knows that she might be the center of Hell’s attention: an extremely powerful Grade 5 demon is stalking her, and her luck can't last forever…
In the second book of the demon trappers series Riley life is going from bad to worse. Riley is facing more trouble and hard choices and emotional turmoil then she can handle.
The book continued were the last one finished i was please with the direction the book went in and i found that i began to like some characters more then others. Some characters are less involved in this book then the first one and other characters are more involved.
I enjoyed the action and drama of the whole book and spent a lot of time rereading over parts that i really liked. There was some really nice shocks that pleased me and had me reading on and enjoying the whole book and i felt that the author did a great job in making some characters be more involved and letting us see what they are like.
I only had one little thing that bugged me in the book and it was how fast Riley was to jump into something after simon went a little crazy and how she seemed to be so blinded by the need to find someone to love that she missed what was looking right at her. she seemed blind to what beck was saying but while it did bug me a little i saw that over that sometimes people make mistakes even when other people can see they are heading for a fall. (hide spoiler)]
The ending of the book left you on a high of oh my god why and did she really just do that and come on you cant end like this which makes for a great ending for me i love getting to the end of a book and having that deep need to read the next one and see how the whole story continues.
The book has a strong story line like the first one and had everything a book needs to keep its readers happy.

Riley Blackthorne just needs a chance to prove herself—and that’s exactly what the demons are counting on...
Seventeen-year-old Riley, the only daughter of legendary Demon Trapper, Paul Blackthorne, has always dreamed of following in her father's footsteps. The good news is, with human society seriously disrupted by economic upheaval and Lucifer increasing the number of demons in all major cities, Atlanta’s local Trappers’ Guild needs all the help they can get—even from a girl. When she’s not keeping up with her homework or trying to manage her growing crush on fellow apprentice, Simon, Riley’s out saving distressed citizens from foul-mouthed little devils – Grade One Hellspawn only, of course, per the strict rules of the Guild. Life’s about as normal as can be for the average demon-trapping teen.
But then a Grade Five Geo-Fiend crashes Riley’s routine assignment at a library, jeopardizing her life and her chosen livelihood. And, as if that wasn’t bad enough, sudden tragedy strikes the Trappers’ Guild, spinning Riley down a more dangerous path than she ever could have imagined. As her whole world crashes down around her, who can Riley trust with her heart—and her life?
Riley's a strong main character from the start of the book i was happily sucked into the drama and danger of her life and watched things go from bad to worse in her life. Riley is a Demon trapper like her dad and in a world where hells creatures are everywhere demon trappers have a hard time keeping on top of it. The book is full of action and Danger the book has solid and likeable Characters.
While the book is packed with action and amazing fighting and so much more there was also a lot of emotional parts and stuff that helped build and showed you why each character was the way they are. I enjoyed the fact the main character Riley is both hard and soft and does have a lot going on even if she sometimes keeps it inside she is easy to follow. The other characters in the book worked will with each other and i loved the whole vibe of this future world that is both the same as now from the money problems in the world to teens drama and all sorts but also new and different thanks to the monsters also the system is so dfferent from our one Jana Oliver has such a creative mine and a way with words that keeps you hooked i enjoyed the book so much and cant wait to move onto the next one

The life William knew has gone. His world has been left devastated by the Fossil War. All major governments have been wiped out and the land is now under the control of the company Terrafall. Although Terrafall's intentions seem honest, William wonders if the company will live up to its promises and stop the tremors, which have been plaguing the Earth since the end of the war. And can Terrafall really find out who is behind the recent wave of abductions?
When someone close to William disappears, he decides it's time to take matters into his own hands. But in a land that is on the verge of tearing itself apart, is it a life worth fighting for? If your world was falling apart, how far would YOU go to save it?

Stumbling Block AKA Writer’s Block
I will always remember the comments my English Literature teacher made when handing back a piece of my course work…
‘You’re never going to be a published author,’ the teacher said, smiling, red pen in hand, ‘but that doesn’t matter, as what you’ve written will suffice.’
Although I knew the teacher was probably right due to the work being of a poor standard, I wished it hadn’t been said as it knocked my confidence, and it seemed like becoming a writer in the future was definitely out of the question.
Becoming a writer hadn’t really registered on my list of future careers, but once those harsh comments had sunk in the likelihood of this ever potentially happening was very much out of the question for me.
Writers face many challenges on the path to putting pen to paper, or in most cases now, fingers to keys, and this was the first major stumbling block that came into my path. After enduring this happenstance the urge to write fictional stories, or anything from my imagination, was totally lost to me, which I partly blame on the experience with the teacher.
But, as with most unpleasant encounters, this soon paled into insignificants, and I knew I shouldn’t let it stop me from doing something I loved.
When I started writing again, I realised that letting those teacher’s words dishearten me was foolish. It was one piece of my work and a single person’s opinion. The piece of work that I’d written wasn’t a true reflection of my writing, and was based on a question that didn’t come from my heart.
I spent the next few years experimenting with my writing, and seeing what I could potentially create. I’d written several stories before Tremor came to life. It took two years to find that comfort zone and finally feel happy with what and why I was writing. I can guarantee that this happens to the majority of writers. And I know this might sound like a hard and time consuming process, but the overall experience is well worth the effort from what you get in return.
Even if you feel like you can’t write, but you have the urge, give it a go and see where your imagination takes you. Like I’ve explained, I originally thought I’d never be able to write anything worth reading. But, I wrote. And Tremor is the outcome of this.

Tiger's Curse Collector's Boxed Set by Colleen Houck
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I'd like to start by saying I've been struggling of late to read any book and i got myself to a point that i was worried that i might not get back to how much i loved reading and losing myself within a book but I'm glad i decided to pick this set up again i had read the first three book before but had not finished so i started a fresh and found myself consumed and lost within its pages not wanting to put the book down or go to sleep.
The books are so well written and there is so much feeling in every word. characters changed and grew before you eyes and i found that i laughed and cried along with the book to me that's a big sign about any book when you feel so deeply for the characters your reading about. i enjoyed how the book progressed and changed and the whole feel of the thing by the time i got to the last few pages of the book i found that i was sad that it had come to a end but happy that I'd gotten to the conclusion of it all.
The author did a amazing job to pull me in and keep me at the edge of my seat till the last word on the page and I'm super glad that i took the time to read this set of amazing books so it was really easy to give this set 5 stars.

FEVER EPILOGUE:
~SPOILER ALERT if you haven’t read Fever~
ELLA
The shower was hot and divine, the droplets hitting my skin made me want to melt. I was exhausted down to my very core. Gutting the old to make room for the new was hard work. Every muscle in my body ached, but I was so ridiculously happy it didn’t even matter. A smile crept over my lips as I reached for the shampoo, squirting a healthy amount into my palm. I had callouses on my hands and my knuckles were indented with various nicks and scrapes. They stung a little as I rubbed the shampoo into my hair, but nothing could wipe the grin from my face.
A song filtered up my throat as I spun to wash out the shampoo. I went for Frank’s Fly Me To The Moon, belting out the song as my mind wandered towards the man I wanted to kiss. Lathering up my loofah, I scrubbed it up my arms, washing off the grime from another hard day’s work.
“Please don’t tell me that loofah is stealing my job again.” Cole’s deep voice made me giggle.
“It’ll go into early retirement the second you get into this shower.” I kept humming as I listened to him undress, my body already zinging in anticipation. It didn’t help that Cole had joined in the song and was now singing about how I filled his heart with song. I tipped my head back and sighed, still reeling in the awesomeness that my life had become.
After Cole’s grand entrance back into it, he’d given me a weekend of heaven before flying back to Chicago. I’d then had to wait until after we’d both finished out our school year. I didn’t want to fly over for his graduation, knowing David would be around. I couldn’t rub his face in it. I just couldn’t. I was so incredibly happy with Cole; it was impossible not to show it.
June 18th had been the happiest of my life. Cole had flown across the country, I’d flown down and we’d run into each other’s arms at LAX.
“Hmmm.” Cole’s large hands ran around my body as he pressed his naked torso against my back. Ripping the loofah from my hands, he chucked it out of the shower and took over, running his soapy fingers over each and every one of my curves.
A soft moan formed in my throat, whispering out of my lips as I rested my head against his shoulder and wrapped my hand around the back of his neck.
He rested his chin on my head.
“So I just got a call from the architect.” His voice was liquid soft and sexy, in spite of the fact he was talking business. I would have ignored it if he hadn’t said the words I’d been desperate to hear all day.
My eyes popped open and I spun in his arms. “What’d he say?”
Cole grinned down at me, his eyes buzzing with the same excitement I felt. “He’ll be here at nine tomorrow to show us his initial ideas.”
I let out a squeal. Cole laughed at me, capturing my lips. I went on my tiptoes and ran my fingers into his hair, loving the way his body responded to my touch.
We’d basically spent the second half of June holed up in my room...much to my aunt’s disgust. I hadn’t cared. I was with Cole and we'd had major catching up to do, but as July rolled around we knew it was time to get on with it, so we’d excitedly contacted a few real estate agents and the hunt had begun. I still had five months until I was granted full access to
my trust fund, but Cole’s was plenty healthy and was able to get us started. We’d already received pre-approval from the bank and it was just a matter of finding the perfect place.
Three weeks later, we did. It was an old store with a studio apartment on top. It’d been abandoned years ago, but the rights for sale had not been available until the owner passed away. For us, the timing couldn’t have been better. After being handed the keys, we stood on the sidewalk in giddy silence gazing up at what would soon become Reynold’s.
We were both getting a taste of our dreams. I was living back in a place that felt like home. Our little apartment was just under five miles from Pasadena Community College. I was cutting back to part-time classes and would complete my degree over four more years. I wanted to be able to help Cole with the pub. I would have quit college then and there, but Nina had talked me out of it, convincing me that I could handle both.
“It’ll be busy, but you’ll never regret having a college degree,” she’d said. “You guys are gonna be great. I’m so proud of you.” Her eyes had welled with tears as we talked over Skype, making me want to cry.
I still couldn’t believe Cole had left Chicago...and them...for me. But he told me as long as I was there, he could live anywhere.
“Ella, you’re my home and no matter where you go, I’ll follow you. I’d walk a thousand miles, remember?” He'd leaned his forehead against mine and I'd nearly died, but then he'd taken it one step further, his expression softening to mush. “I want to marry you.”
My lips parted, my heart freezing still.
He’d grinned at me. “I don’t have a ring yet. Every penny I have is kind of wrapped up in our future plans right now, but there’ll be one coming, Miss Simmons...I just wanted you to know.”
I'm pretty sure I haven't stopped smiling since that day. We might not be officially engaged, but our hearts got hitched a long time ago and for now I’m happy to wait for my wedding day.
Cole’s tongue was burning as it slid into my mouth. He pressed me back against the cool tiles, his lips working over my chin and down my neck. I ran my fingers across his hard shoulders as his tongue traveled down my body, hotwiring my brain and making coherent thought impossible.
“How much time do I have?” Cole murmured against my belly. “Time? What’s time?”
He chuckled, blowing a raspberry into my belly button. I gently yanked his hair as I giggled.
“Jody’s picking me up at seven.”
“And where are you going?”
“We’re taking Morgan out for karaoke.”
“Again?” He looked up at me. “She’s not looking for that guy is she?”
“The actor?” I chuckled. “No, she just needs some cheering up. She still hasn’t found a

"I thought she was swearing off guys."
I shrugged, my insides pinching with worry. "Me too."

"Anyway, we have to celebrate as much as we can tonight. Jody leaves next week. It’s
gonna be sad. We have to have as much fun as we can while the trio is still together.” I tipped my head, water running off my hair and splashing into his face. I laughed, brushing his slick curls off his forehead. “I’m so glad I’ve got you.”
Cole ran his hands up my sides, squeezing my hips and giving me one of his megawatt smiles. I leaned down and kissed it, pressing my body against his. “So in answer to your question...” I softly bit his neck before working my way up to his ear and nibbling on the lobe. “I’ve got as much time as we need.”
Cole’s deep chuckle reverberated in his chest. “When it comes to you, my love, there is never enough time.”
I grinned as his lips got back to work and I was sent to heaven, the tune of Cheek to Cheek whistling through my brain as Cole and I danced to our own shower song.
