Oh my gods!! I mean, I was sort of worried this wouldn’t be as good as the first but shockingly, I was totally wrong. Not only that, but now that I know the layout of the worlds and their people, I felt like I could understand more and get a better grasp on the story.
The ending had me twisted up, sobbing, screaming, and so ticked off like why?? But I know why… and it was amazing and heartbreaking. I just wanted to slap a Vrix across the face and murder another, but wow it had me on the edge of my seat, pulling at my hair, wide-eyed.
There’s spice dotted throughout the book I think about three longer spicy parts and they’re really good! It fits with the story and is just so well done. I honestly didn’t think I’d become this invested in the series, but I am so ready to run to the third book!
