Writing About Werewolves – Character Profiles: Ryan
Name: Ryan Mason
Age: forty
Dark brown hair, cut very short
Dark brown eyes
Six foot tall.
Hefty with lots of muscles – like a body builder.
Ryan is one of three (or four) main male characters. We will
learn much more about him in book three, Heart Of The Wolf, but what we
do know so far, doesn’t disappoint! You know how grown men can act like little
boys? I wanted that quality in Ryan. Just as Lydia is fun-loving, I wanted the
same in Ryan to compliment her – they have a spiritual connection of sorts and
I wanted this shown in how similar they are in their personalities. Both are
impetuous (Ryan, a little more so), with a quick temper and a lot of passion to
give. Out of all the three males, Ryan is the one that Lydia actually knows the best,
inside and out, and the same can be said for him knowing her. They have a deep
acceptance of each other that is lovely to write about and will be played out
more in future books.
We meet Ryan in book one, Releasing The Wolf.
More about Ryan: The object of Lydia's hot dreams, Ryan is
powerful, impetuous, fun-loving, as indestructible as a werewolf can be in both
physical strength and spiritual outlook, and the appointed Alpha of the pack in

Although quite active online, Dianna is a self-confessed hermit, preferring the company of nature and animals to the hustle and bustle of people. She loves anything paranormal (she doesn't really consider it "para"), organic food, walking barefoot, the smell of the woods after rain, and summer days.
However, she is also sustained by coffee, chocolate and the occasional vodka.
She lives in the UK with her partner and their daughter, where she devotes her time to parenting, publishing and writing.
