Sweet Venom (Medusa Girls #1) by Tera Lynn Childs review -annmarie-

Grace just moved to San Francisco and is excited to start over at a new school. The change is full of fresh possibilities, but it’s also a tiny bit scary. It gets scarier when a minotaur walks in the door. And even more shocking when a girl who looks just like her shows up to fight the monster.

Gretchen is tired of monsters pulling her out into the wee hours, especially on a school night, but what can she do? Sending the minotaur back to his bleak home is just another notch on her combat belt. She never expected to run into this girl who could be her double, though.

Greer has her life pretty well put together, thank you very much. But that all tilts sideways when two girls who look eerily like her appear on her doorstep and claim they're triplets, supernatural descendants of some hideous creature from Greek myth, destined to spend their lives hunting monsters.

These three teenage descendants of Medusa, the once-beautiful gorgon maligned by myth, must reunite and embrace their fates in this unique paranormal world where monsters lurk in plain sight.

Review
What can i say about this book to help you understand how flipping wicked it was, let's start from the beginning  I have had this book setting on my self for so long but never got around to reading it, I have no idea why though. I was going though are really bad patch where i could not read any books that i picked up so on the point of giving up i find this book calling to me and once i started i just could not stop.

For the start of the book you are given a great grasp of all the characters and what makes them tick and i felt like i really knew the characters as the book went along. There are three very different sisters that are brought up three different ways with no idea that they are triplets and what there future holds for them. It was a book about family, lives and secrets i loved following and uncovering the truth and how it must feel to have zero control over you live when its predestined by the gods. i was gripped to the point that it pained me to put the book down and have to sleep but i zoomed through and hated the book to end and me to feel like i needed more.

The book was over flowing with action all the way though with drama of all kids and a simply one of a kind storyline that left you wanting more.

Also include lots of well detailed smelly monsters that want to kill you just brilliant.
