The Cruel Prince by Holly Black review

The Cruel Prince (The Folk of the Air, #1)The Cruel Prince by Holly Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Holly Black's Modern faerie tales series happens to be one of the first series that I read from the author and while it was a while ago I still remember how good the series was and how much I enjoyed it so when I saw this book by the same author I was excited to give it a try I had pretty high expectation given I had already see what the Author could weave into a book and I was not disappointed

I found that The cruel prince was such an easy read which shocked me given how amazing and interesting and dark the book was times I feared I might find myself getting bored of the whole political side of things but in truth I found myself eating the book up like I was half starved in truth. The character are all solid and have such detailed differences rather then some book where you can tell the difference from one character from the next and the only true difference is normally the main but not in this book each character was highly thought over and made into solid players in the book which made it all the more interesting to read.

Now the story is unlike any I have read before well thought out and made into something stunning and dark it gave me such a smile while reading it and not knowing where it was going. When you read a book we all try and guess the outcome or the love intrest or who might back stab who or what the characters are shaping into so many things but sometimes when you start and already pretty much know where the story is heading it came be a little bit of a let down so reading this was like being blind folded and told to find a exit in a maze and no matter how much you tried you are not getting out and it was so exciting reading a book that was totally out of your reach to guess and it left you suprices and happy when you are wrong it was a thrill so pleased.

I don't think I found anything that made me question how splendid the book was normally while reading there is always something that makes you mad or just a little thing that disappointed you but nothing I read this book and not once did I find something that had me question how perfect I found this book. I could really sing praises to this book all day long and only have one problem now waiting for book two is going to kill me.

Roar by Cora Carmack review

Roar (Stormheart, #1)Roar by Cora Carmack
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Speechless... I mean really just wow this book was spectacular like hands down one of the best books I've read this year no scrap that this book is up that with my all time favorites like no lie it was great.

I enjoyed the storyline sooooooooo much that I lost track of time that people in real life are trying to communicate that at some point I really should eat and drink. It was like I fear the moment I stopped reading I would be pulled out of the world and lose it forever. The story was different and exciting and so many things that I was buzzing with each word each page. I was gripping the edge of my seat begging for it not to end and by the time I hit the last page I did not know if I should stand and have a little dance in happiness or cry because it was at an end I mean really it was that good for me and i hands down found no real fault that had me doubting how good it was.

If I had to pick hole maybe the leads mood swings up I got it and understood that by the end it was like the book was a present meant for me and there was no need to return and get my money bad best gift ever. I had my favorite characters but even then I loved them all for what they added to the story how it belt layers and made things clear for me and overall the author gets a massive round of applause from me and a massive thank you so much for making this book totally brilliant that I could reread it over and over again. This one is in my top ten all-time loved books and I know the moment I get a chance to read the next all over book will be put aside so it can have my full undivided attention of with it deserves.

For right now I'm about to pass out and sleep before the sun comes up and reminds me its almost daylight outside

Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge review

Cruel Beauty (Cruel Beauty Universe, #1)Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow just the opening line to this was like some kind of promise that the book was going to be tremendous I was so hopeful but did not want to be disappointed stay up till 4am before I knew it the book was finished and I was left with this feeling of warm loveness after finishing a book so amazing that one I was glad it was such a well written and brightly written two that the characters are so memorable and totally easy to fall in love Three the whole idea and thought behind the world and the story was breath taking for such a dark felt invoroment it still was beautiful.

Sometimes you read books and its all sweetness and kindness like walking into a sweet shops and being told you can eat all you want without having to pay and at first you are totally happy and excited for it but after a while you get sick of eating sweet and its the same with book reading the same sweet world sweet chatacters can get boring and this book took that sweetness throw it out the window looked you in the eyes and say hey lets not do that lets make it dark lets make it twisted and all you can do is think hell to the yes strap youself in because it going to be a fanstic ride.

I'm not sure how I never stumbled over this book before when it came out but I'm really glad I found it. Its one of those books that stays with you and lingers long after you finish it and you know once you read it that if you had never stumbled upon it that you would have been missing something great like living your whole life and never reading harry potter or tasting chocolate its just not something you can't do and this book for me was like finally getting something I had no idea i was missing but really hopelessly needing it.

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard review

Red Queen (Red Queen, #1)Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard

So hard to review this book there were times I was loving it so much I could have lost myself completely the book even had me crying (view spoiler)
What my main problem was the time between everything I sometimes found my self just drifting off elsewhere but the moment the book throw something at me I was there and not leaving but I felt like if the spaces between had more going on. I might have been ok because the book was great the story was fantastic I mean any book that has you screaming and throwing a fit is good in my books it means I am invested in what I'm reading and this book had that.

Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones review

Wintersong (Wintersong, #1)Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I think the start of any book is really important most readers know within the first few chapters that you're going to burn through the book like gas to an open flame when you have those starts in a book you get excited and anticipate the journey that's to come. Starting this book was like that from the first word I was excited. Different and fun I had high hopes for the first page so when I started getting through each page I was not disappointed there is something about this book while it's not what I expected it was a story that held me and had me hoping and investing my emotions into the characters. I did worry its a pretty big book and I feared I would become bored and have to stop but it was never the case and when I hit the last few pages I found myself struggling to keep my feeling in check and not burst into tears I mean its one thing to cry but when you sitting in a livingroom with you family getting looked at like you have lost you mind is never something you want but this book had my heart all the way to the end and I'm so glad I gave it a chance. Beautifully written and full of love and heat with views of family's life and what people do when facing choices that can change your life.
