Under the never sky series by Veronica Rossi ((spoiler alart))

Don't read this review if you have not read both books in the under the never sky series. While I try not to have spoilers there is always a chance I let something slip.

Under the never sky series by Veronica Rossi

1. Under the never sky

2. Through the ever night

Since she'd been on the outside, she'd survived an Aether storm, she'd had a knife held to her throat, and she'd seen men murdered. This was worse.

Exiled from her home, the enclosed city of Reverie, Aria knows her chances of surviving in the outer wasteland - known as The Death Shop - are slim. If the cannibals don't get her, the violent, electrified energy storms will. She's been taught that the very air she breathes can kill her. Then Aria meets an Outsider named Perry. He's wild - a savage - and her only hope of staying alive.

A hunter for his tribe in a merciless landscape, Perry views Aria as sheltered and fragile - everything he would expect from a Dweller. But he needs Aria's help too; she alone holds the key to his redemption. Opposites in nearly every way, Aria and Perry must accept each other to survive. Their unlikely alliance forges a bond that will determine the fate of all who live under the never sky

Review by Annmarie.

There is something beautiful about this series so far from the well build and imaginative place that the author has point together. From the moment i picked up book one to the moment i put down book two i knew that this series has to be one of my favorites. There are so many amazing authors and books out there that readers are raising the bar when reading books, now they want more action and romance they want everything and i felt this series so far really for me ticks all the boxes. The books in the series are unlike all other teen books and that’s what i liked how different and amazing the the books are.

The storyline in the books follows Aria how is from the Reverie and Perry Both characters are strong and exciting leads both very different. Over the two books you really see a massive change in Aria that helps you understand and like her more. Perry is already a strong guy when you meet him and it's the softer side and love that come out that makes readers stop and see more to him than just hunt and kill. The Story is packed full of detail and information that helps you visualize the places the characters go and the character you meet through the series so far. It's the detail and time on each page that pulls you into the book and holds you to the end.

Now for me the parts that stand out and make you breathless in wonder has to be the Aether storms the description and time really worked for me and I found that I thought of it even if I was not reading the book. There was also the relationship between Aria and perry in the first book was simply one of a kind there was no rush between them and i felt the author left us enough time to really love each character before bring them together but what got me was Roar. Roar in the first book was funny and you could not help but like him but in book two he has grown and then he and Aria become close and it’s horrible for me to say but normally with love triangles readers find it easy to pick the guy they like but if this heads for an Aria, Perry and Roar love triangle I can’t say i would pick Perry there is just something about Roar that pulls me so much more that Perry. (Don’t Shoot me)

As a whole this series so far is one of the best and everyone should read it.

5 stars
