This is book 2 in the Vicious Lost Boys series, and it picks up right where book 1 left off.
The book opens with a bang—we’re talking fast-paced, full of action—and then the smile dropped from my face and was replaced with worry and terror. It was such an epically fun way to start a book, and I was hooked.
What I really love about this book is that there’s a clearly solid storyline with goals and steps. Even with the overflowing dark spice, heat, and drama, the actual plot is there—so I don’t feel like I’m just reading page after page of spice with no purpose. The story follows a clean and satisfying path from book 1 to this one.
And while this book is just over 200 pages, it’s a quick read that feels jam-packed with everything I want—action, emotion, spice, tension. For me, that’s a total win.
There’s so much going on, and I really felt some type of way about Cherry. Like, I get her less-than-great past, but her actions were next-level crazy. I was wide-eyed, clutching the book like “OMG”—it was just so good.
⚠️ That said, please read the trigger warnings! If you're looking for soft, sweet vanilla romance, this is not the series for you. This is more like hot chili peppers in a dark room. 🔥
I absolutely loved the book and am skipping off to read the next one. Honestly, I’d love for all four books in the series to be bound together into one big chunky book—that would be amazing.
Would I recommend this book?
OMG YES!!
Would I reread it?
This is my second—maybe third—reread.
How would I sum it up?
A quick, super spicy, dark book that leaves you wanting more. 😈
