spoiler may be included be warned!

The Mortal War is over, and sixteen-year-old Clary Fray is back home in New York, excited about all the possibilities before her. She's training to become a Shadowhunter and – most importantly of all – she can finally call Jace her boyfriend. But nothing comes without a price. Someone is murdering the Shadowhunters who used to be in Valentine's Circle, provoking tensions between Downworlders and Shadowhunters that could lead to a second, bloody war. And when Jace begins to pull away from her without explaining why, Clary is forced to delve into the heart of a mystery whose solution reveals her worst nightmare: she herself has set in motion a terrible chain of events that could lead to her losing everything she loves. Even Jace.

Review.
I really could not wait for this book i had loved the last three books and i hated that the series might come to an end so when i finally got city of fallen angels in my hand i was well excited. I read the first half of the book in one day and found that while the story was different we were still going over a look of stuff from the old books. i had also thought that clary and jace would be happy together i had waited so long for their happy ending and it was short lived i felt like i was being ripped off. While the first three books were all about us hoping clary and jace would be together and then it happens and then its messed up again i felt well really ticked off i had hoped the series would be different challenges rather than repeating the same stuff.

I would like to add there was a lot more going on than just clary and jace you heard more about simon and his life but it all really just ended the same. I think the book would have been better if there had been more new and exciting giving the characters different challenges i was just really disappointed and i hope that others want feel the same.

Sorry it such a downer review but i wanted to be honest.
