Violet Willoughby doesn't believe in ghosts. But they believe in her. After spending years participating in her mother's elaborate ruse as a fraudulent medium, Violet is about as skeptical as they come in all matters supernatural. Now that she is being visited by a very persistent ghost, one who suffered a violent death, Violet can no longer ignore her unique ability. She must figure out what this ghost is trying to communicate, and quickly because the killer is still on the loose.
Afraid of ruining her chance to escape her mother's scheming through an advantageous marriage, Violet must keep her ability secret. i would and wouldnt like to be able to talk to spirits, i would because it could be helpful in life to be able to communicate i wouldnt because hearing and communicating with many spirits at all times would be very distracting and very busy i think it would be nice to pick and choose when u can hear them

Well, for ghosts/spirit, I alwayz believe this well, one time I saw my grandfather when I was young that how I believe it and also, one time I could feel the ghost kissed me for some reason I don't know why but that how I believe the ghost/spirits. And I knew they will alway on my side but for books I would loves to read this! lol

I wouldn't want to be able to talk to ghosts/ spirits. While I love it in concept I don't think I'd be able to handle never knowing when a ghost would pop up to talk to me.

I would love to talk to ghosts/spirits. Incase any of my friends or family died I would never actually lose them. I could talk to them when I want to or when they would want to. I could also help ghosts with what they need. The only bad part would be that I could also contact bad ghosts which I would hope I'd never do.

I've always thought about whether or not I'd like communicating with ghosts. Sometimes I think I would, but other times I don't know if I could handle it. There is a big IF though, like IF I had people around me who either saw them too, or who knew about my abilities and supported me. I don't think I'd want to do something like that all on my own, it'd be far too overwhelming on a daily basis. Also, what if these ghosts are not friendly, Casper types? I definitely would NOT know what to do with ALL of that either, especially not on my own. Although, some mysteriously handsome guy could come help me with all of the supernatural mysteries :)

There are a bunch of people I care for who left life too soon, including 2 grandpas and one of my grandmas. I would love to be able to communicate with them if they were ghosts, just to see how they are and get some of that great advice I used to get! :) Thank you for the chance to enter!

Yes, I would want to be able to talk to ghosts! For one thing it would take away my fear from death (probably...hopefully!) and for another I would be able to see through a lot of mysteries and weird events that happened as time drew on.

If I had the choice, I would pick to "Not" talk to the spirits. Why? Well anyone who watched the movie Ghost remembers how the spirits flocked to the psychic and bothered her once word got out about her ability. I would hate to be bombarded like that. And to listen to sad stories and know who a murderer was and not be able to bring them to justice because its just my word against theirs... it would be so hard on me.

I think it would be awesome to talk to spirits! Especially spirits from historic time periods, like the Civil War or the Revolutionary War. Think how much you could learn from them about the time they came from!

I don't think I would NOT like to have the power to talk to ghosts/spirits for the simple reason that you never know what your going to hear. I would imagine that spirits have different personalities, just like people. What happens when you get a spirit with a bad personality and they just won't leave you alone.

I think it might have more disadvantages than advantages, but it would be cool for a day or two. I read that the sounds we hear when we go to rest(those oceany, sqooshy noices, you don't hear those?)are actually spirits trying to talk to you, so maybe on some level I already do.
